Our Feeds’n Needs Saint John store is seeking a part time Retail/Warehouse Associate to join our team. The chosen candidate must have the ability to work evenings and weekends. Approximately 15-20 hours per week.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Providing guidance and answering questions from customers
- Operating cash registers and other equipment
- Packaging or bagging products for customers
- Assist in replenishment and labeling of products
- Assist in warehouse as needed:
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Counting and confirming inventory
- Inspecting inventory for damage and faults
- Storing inventory in accessible manner
- Loading and wrapping stock on pallets
Skills & Qualifications
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift over 25 kg repeatedly is required
- Forklift training is considered an asset, but is not required
- Experience loading and unloading trailers is considered an asset
- Required to stand for extended periods of time
- Steel-toed safety boots are required
