Feeds’n Needs – Retail Division of Shur-Gain/Trouw Nutrition, a Nutreco Company is seeking a Retail Store Manager
About The Role: Our Sussex, New Brunswick Feeds’ n Needs store is one of 14 corporate owned stores specializing in providing quality service to animal, pet, and lawn & garden consumers throughout the Maritimes. We are seeking someone who demonstrates strong leadership and information-sharing skills to their peers. As the store manager you set the example, demonstrating a commitment to a high standard of customer service, procedure, can communicate effectively to peers and work with their team to keep them motivated and successful. The right candidate actively participates in the store’s sales development plans and the smooth running of the branch.
Responsibilities:
- Execute regional store strategies to enhance traffic and profitability
- Oversee store administration and compliance with policies
- Ensure superior store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Report on buying trends, customer needs, and profits
- Introduce innovative ideas to expand market share
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education or applicable practical experience
- Previous retail or retail management experience, focused on excellent customer service
- Excellent communication skills when dealing with customers/clients regarding merchandise
- Proven aptitude in accurate and cost-effective decision-making
- Customer management and strong organizational skills
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment
- Powerful leadership skills and business orientation
- High level of computer competency including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
- Grooming: Transform our furry clients into the best-looking pets in town, providing grooming services with love and care.
- Sales: Assist pet owners in finding the perfect products, from food, toys and treats to health and wellness items.
- Customer Service: Ensure every pet and pet owner feels welcome, appreciated, and leaves with a smile.
- Store Maintenance: Keep our pet paradise clean and inviting, so pets and their owners always feel at home.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in pet grooming and a genuine love for animals.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sales experience is a bonus, as you’ll help pet owners find the best products for their furry friends.
- Must possess computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Customer satisfaction oriented;
- English is mandatory and being fluent in French would be an asset.

About the Position
The Bulk Feed Delivery Driver works under the supervision of the Production & Logistics Supervisor within the feed mill operations located in Moncton, New Brunswick. The Bulk Feed Delivery Driver provides efficient and timely delivery of bulk feed and assist with other mill operations as needed. This person should be available to work on different schedules including day, evenings, and night shifts.
Responsibility Highlights
- Maintain required licenses, physicals, etc., necessary to perform job requirements
- Delivery of bulk and bagged feed products to customers
- Assist with other mill operations including feed mill operation
- Feed mill and mill fleet maintenance
Qualification Highlights
- Ability to work in a face-paced environment
- Well organized, mechanical aptitude
- Experience with various machines & tools considered an asset
- Ability to lift, push, pull or carry over 25 kg, some tasks require repetitive motions
- Available to work on-call from time to time
