Join us for our “Tick Talk” Webinar on Tuesday June 22 at 7:00 p.m.

Join us for a virtual Tick Talk with Professor Nicoletta Faraone, PHD! Dr. Nicoletta Faraone is an assistant professor at the Chemistry Department, Acadia University, Wolfville (NS). She teaches Biochemistry and Natural Product Chemistry. Her research focuses on studying tick chemosensory system, how ticks detect odours from hosts and how they respond to repellents. She designs and develops novel essential oil-based tick repellent products.

In this hour long session, Feeds’n Needs customers will learn everything they need to know about these pesky bugs, from where they live, prevention and treatment for you and your pets! We will be having an open Q & A period towards the end of the webinar where you can ask your specific questions to Dr. Faraone. Questions can also be emailed to contact@feedsnneeds.ca in advance of the Q & A session. Participants will also have the chance to win various gift cards and tick products and accessories!

Our recent Feeds’n Needs Expert Advice Series features two of our Experts in poultry, Katie Hirtle and Marissa Albright.  In their the Principles of Feeding a Flock webinar, they run through essential topics like brooding, types of feed, nutrition, biosecurity and health for laying and meat birds.

Ask her any questions you might have about raising poultry, learn about items we carry in-store to help you raise a a flock successfully.
